Three days of the TwitSnaps photo contest saw nearly 1500 photographs being shared on our site. That’s an awesome figure and we really appreciate all those who participated in the contest. It was exciting to see some of the beautiful pictures that you shared with us. We felt privileged to view them and felt sad when some of the entries had to be disqualified on technical grounds.

Cash prize winner (Day-3)

Congratulations @Sumeet..! You are the Day-3 cash prize winner of the TwitSnaps photo contest. The 81 photographs that you shared with us, has ensured that you get Rs. 1,500 from us. Thanks for participating in the contest.

Bluebustees T-shirt winners

Day-3 runners-up are @tittoantony and @jasdeepjon. Titto Antony shared 78 legitimate photo entries on TwitSnaps and Jasdeep Singh shared 29 photographs. Both have won one @Bluebustees T-shirt each. Congratulations.

Bumper prize winner

The bumper prize winner is @Siddharthag, who shared 371 photographs on TwitSnaps. Wow..! That’s an awesome number. Congratulations buddy, for winning the bumper cash prize of Rs. 3,000/-. The winners of Day-1 did a remarkable job on Day-2 too. But unfortunately, due to the TwitSnaps contest terms and conditions, they were not eligible for the prizes that they had already won! @siddharthag (shared 139 photos) and @sumeet (shared 44 photos) do not worry, as you are in with a good chance to win prizes on the 3 rd day.

Yaay..! @Harshitashining had to lose out on Day- 1 because she failed to follow one of the rules of the contest. But it’s nice to see her participate again and win the cash prize of Rs. 1,500. Yes, Harshita Sharma is the Day-2 winner of the TwitSnaps photo contest. Congratulations @Harshitashining, your 50 photographs ensured that you win Rs. 1,500 from us.

Bluebustees T-shirt winners

The Day-2 runners up were @karthikakv and @athulii. Karthika shared 15 photographs on TwitSnaps and Athulii uploaded 10.  Congratulations, you have won one @BlueBustees T-shirt each.

Disqualifications

Some of the entries had to be disqualified because the contestants failed to follow the rules. To be eligible for the prizes, you need to ensure the following:

1) Add #photocontest to all your entries;

2) Add a proper description of 3 or more words;

3) Post your photo- tweets over Twitter.

4) All your photographs need to be original and not borrowed from Google image search and other sources.

6th day of the TwitSnaps photo contest has started off well. We have received many entries for the contest. For us, it promises to be another exciting day of going through many of your beautiful snaps. If you haven’t entered yourself for the contest, you are may do it now.You could very well be our next winner.

To be eligible for the contest, you need to be from the US or Canada. You need to upload photographs on TwitSnaps.com, between 11:30 am- 11:30 pm (Pacific Time). Please remember to add the hashtag #TwitSnapsHH to all your photographs.

By popular demand, we have decided to go ahead and launch a TwitSnaps contest for Indians. Yes, now you can participate in a TwitSnaps contest and be the winner..! The tentative date for the contest is 15th September, ‘09.

You need to be residing in India, to be eligible for the contest. The TwitSnaps team would take into account your IP address to determine your eligibility for the contest. The full details of the TwitSnaps photo contest are yet to be etched out. But we’d like to stick to the 15th September, ‘09 date that we have announced in this blog post.
